Pub Grub gives you access to a huge collection of recipes for all sorts of interesting bar meals and drinks. If you have your own bar and you wish to expand your menu with new dishes or you simply wish to try them out for yourself, you can learn how to cook them with this lightweight application. You can also create your own entries, if you get any ideas while looking through the existing recipes.

The application is free to try for 30 days, without any obvious functionality restrictions. Downloading and installing Pub Grub shouldn't take more than a minute, even on slower machines. The software doesn't have any special requirements and it doesn't have any impact on a computer's performance.

It's difficult to see how Pub Grub could be any easier. The application displays a long list of recipes, on the right side of its user interface and you only need to double click one to display it, on its own window, in the larger area on the left. Of course, you can use a search function if you wish to find something specific among the hundreds and hundreds of recipes. Beer and ale recipes can be found as well, on a separate tab.

Obviously, each recipe mentions all the ingredients you need, along with quantities, and it also tells you how to prepare the dish. If you want to add your own recipe to the collection, you only need to fill in a series of input fields, on a separate window.

Besides holding an impressive number of recipes, the software comes with a few useful tools as well. The recipes are for foods that are regularly served in British pubs, so it shouldn't be a surprise if the software uses imperial units. However, the built-in calculator will help you transform any measurements from one system to another, without any effort. Another useful tool is the blood alcohol calculator, which can help you figure out how much alcohol you accumulate in your blood after a certain number of beers, based on your weight, so you will know when it's time to call it quits.

With all the recipes Pub Grub places at your disposal, it can be quite difficult to stay in shape and not get fat.

Pros

The software comes with numerous recipes, for all sorts of foods and drinks. It lets you search for recipes and you can also add your own to the collection. Pub Grub also comes with a few tools, for converting measuring units and calculating blood alcohol.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to address.
